Sickness insurance reimburses a portion of the costs of private medical and dental fees as well as those of examinations and treatment. Most service providers come within the scope of direct reimbursement, in which case you are reimbursed directly at the health facility’s reception.

You can also claim sickness insurance reimbursements for treatment fees at a private hospital. Reimbursements do not cover office fees, operating room fees or daily hospital or outpatient fees. You can also obtain sickness insurance reimbursements of payments for written medical opinions and certificates issued by a doctor that are issued for you to receive reimbursements for medicines, sickness allowance or for an assessment of your rehabilitation needs.
