Member associations’ advice services

The Cancer Society’s member associations provide advice on a one-to-one basis by appointment or by phone. The member associations’ offices are located throughout Finland. The range of services they provide varies.

Regional cancer associations help patients with acquiring and using various assistive devices, such as breast forms (prostheses), checking moles on the skin, and giving genetic counselling on cancer. Nurses also carry out health promotion and give advice on such things as following a health lifestyle.
